The Unplugged Experience:
Located 10 miles from Masset on the Queen Charlotte Islands, beyond the
constant hum of hydro lines and the insistent rings of the telephone, our cabin
retreats offer a balance between the comforts of home and the bare-basics of
camp. Our beach cabins come fully furnished, with kitchens fully equipped. Wood
and propane provide heat, light, and cooking facilities, with cold running water,
and clean and private outhouses. Showers, laundry facilities, public telephones
and internet access available in nearby Masset


Prices reflect recent upgrades and renovations to the cabins ,
furnishings, and the grounds.
Hillten
Beach Cabin Retreat (350 sq ft plus loft)- $70/day
Watch the stars shine thru the treetops from your loft in the ‘Hillten’ beach cabin retreat. Nestled in the towering spruce east of Masset, these spacious, cozy and private vacation hostel accommodations have a superb beach view through west-facing bay windows and sliding glass door. Custom crafted from Western Red Cedar from the Queen Charlotte Islands, BC; this post & beam, mortise and
tenon refuge comes with skylight over the sleeping loft, as well as fold-down futon daybed, and small wood stove. Sleeps four comfortably.

Waldorf Beach Cabin Retreat (400 sq ft plus loft)-

Watch for Whales from the comfort of your Queen Charlotte Islands, BC beach cabin deck or living room ( behind a 14' wall of glass), at the ‘Waldorf’. This spacious and bright 16' x 24' cedar-shaked
hostel, with deep bay window straddles the dunes bordering the mossy rainforest. This secluded beach cabin retreat is warmed by a cozy wood-burning stove, and boasts a sleeping loft, and sunny south deck.
Cabin is furnished with fold-down sofa bed, armchairs, dinette and desk, it sleeps 4 comfortably, and is the perfect

sparkling gem with two sliding glass doors and large
windows. This bright cedar shaked cabin is
perched right in the dunes and has a wraparound deck
on the north, east and south faces. It
features pine flooring and comes furnished with a
burl coffee table, wood stove, and 2 sofa beds to
comfortably sleep 4.

Moon
Shell / Builtmore (345 sq ft plus loft) - $80/day *
Let the Surf be your Pulse at the
Moon Shell. Nestled in a fringe of young mossy rainforest, this beautiful and very private
cedar-shaked beach cabin retreat sits directly on the dunes. This roomy 16' x 24'
cabin sleeps 4. The
cabin has two large decks; a sunny south deck fronting the dining area, and a north deck facing directly into the breaking surf 100 feet away, visible from the living area through 9-foot sliding glass doors.
The Moon Shell features a sleeping loft, a skylight, pine-planked walls, and a cozy wood stove. The cabin is furnished with
a futon sofa/bed, dinette, and desk.

Pet Policy
Dogs and cats are welcome at our beach cabins, with some provisions: Please ensure your pet remains in the immediate vicinity of your cabin (on a leash if necessary), and is under control at all times. We are located within park
boundaries, where all birds, deer, and other wildlife are protected, so your pet cannot run loose, or disturb guests at other cabins. They must not litter the trails, or dig in the flowerbeds - Beware of gardener!
Pets are to stay OFF the furniture and not allowed to scratch the sliding glass doors. Please bring a suitable container for water/food for your pet, and a pet bed of sorts if possible.
There is a one-time
$20 surcharge for pets.
