 Dixon Entrance Golf Club boasts an audience of bald eagles, ravens, Canada geese, and sandhill cranes scattered along this oceanfront course. There is also a clubhouse with showers and equipment for rent, all for a modest fee.

Volunteer operated, it runs on the honor system - just sign in at the desk, and tee off. Thursday Burger nights host Birdie Jackpots (for certain of the trickier greens); and regular golf tournaments occur throughout the season.

Fairway 7-16 (left) plays to the bottom of the hill near the top-left of the photo.

Fairway 8-17 plays up the hill displaying a nice panoramic of the clubhouse, Dixon Entrance, Tow Hill and a view to the mountains of the Alaska Panhandle.

It is a 9 hole/18 tee course, with holes 7-16 and 8-17 playing along the ocean overlooking Dixon Entrance. Men's course rating is 64.7 with slope 106 par 65. Women's course rating is 70.5 with slope 120 par 69.
